Need Help.

I have the MSD Pro Billet Distributor and i was wondering how do i connect to the ignition box..

it is the # 85551 and my problem is that it has the Black with orange strip, black with purple strip, solid purple, and solid grep wires on a connector. but on my MSD 6m-2L ign box does not have the connector to match..

do i just snip the wires and use different connetors..

Does your MSD box not have the standard twin plug outlet? Should have a Green and a Violet pair coming out the oposite side of the box to the main wires.
Violet is Mag (+) and Green is Mag (-). They match up to the corresponding striped wires, Violet to purple.

If you don't have the correct plug end, just snip the dist one off and use a two pin weather proof connector or deustch connector.
