Default oil pressure gages

i have a new livorci oil pressure gage . the needle wont move if i pull the sender wire and run a wire to the sending unit it pegs? put a new sending unit in and it does the same what am i doing wrong?

You are grounding the sending unit !!! " WRONG "

1 wire to the gauge ,,thats it !! The sender gets ground from the thread !!

i aint grounding anything wire to sender, gages grounded to dash.

mmmmmmhhhhhhh,,,bad sender ?! i guess !!

What kind of sender is it ? 1 or 2 terminals ?

1 say's G and 1 say's W ????

Then the G is GAUGE , i am not trying to be smart ,,but most think it means ground !

ALSO ,,,,,COULD THE WIRE BE DAMAGED SOMEWHERE ??

the gage has a S which means sendor,g means ground

DD is right ..... G means gauge .... W means Warning .....goes to a lamp ....m

The only Ground on the gauge would be for lighting ....the Gauge is Gnd Through the sending units ......m

whats it mean when the gage pegs, i tried a diff gage and it did the same thing, i bought new gages and am using a oriellys sender should i buy one from livorci .

Normaly if the gauge is peged to max then something is grounded out and that could be at the gauge it self, Could be the wire from the sender to the gauge. look on the gauge it self some times the post for the ground will have ground signs with the 3 lines over each other ---
