Default Toluene

Priced toluene at Menards 17.89/ gal, Sherman Williams 12.00/ gallon. Where can I get it cheaper? Thinking of mixing airplane fuel 101 octane, , or mixing race fuel 110 octane, any thoughts? Thanks

Aviation fuel isn't all that great for adding octane. I'd rather run 93 from the pump than 100LL.

Thinking of mixing 1 part 100 LL to 4 parts 93, incase 93 is'nt 93? Melted a piston last year, engine builder thought it was because of bad fuel? When they put it on the dyno, the fuel to air mixture did not need to changed so I don't think it leaned out?

should not need more than premium fuel

I have 557's with 8:1CR/aluminum heads, 10-71's at 6 PSI with 32*all in at 2500 on 91 octane

Did it run out of fuel, close to empty.do you have fuel pressure alarms? 93 should be good for that combo? we made 803hp with 93 octane.
