I saw this on the news last night.....what a crock. You notice it says the lawsuit was filed by a FORMER law student. There were several law scholars, including African-American, who said the courts would NEVER allow this.........

They are just taking attention away from the real issues that would benefit the Africdan-American community................

It's chit like this that really interferes with real law and important things. It's a waste of time, money and is embaressing to this nation. Our legal system needs a major overhaul!

maybe i should sue becuase my grandfather (who was left germany after WWI) was harrassed and mistreated during WWII. As a matter of fact he routineley had rocks throw at him.

**** happens. Slavery was horrible no doubt about it. But these thigns happened so long ago (and hell we did fight the bloodiest war about it, and plenty of white peopel died do free the slaves). I could entirely see an openfrank written appollogy buta law suit. I think asking for money trivializes it.

I agree with PLAYN 100%.....I have great respect for anyone who works hard in Life, and give no respect for people who look for Hand-outs.

I read it also yesturday, If this ever was even given a serious thought, I would move to an actual free country. I love the US but everywhere has past, present, and future problems that happen. To my knowledge no slave owners are still alive or slaves for that matter. Get over it and move on with a productive life.
