Default 525 efi Header Gaskets?

We didn't have gaskets, so we put the headers on with a front and back bolt. The gaskets are slotted so I don't have to remove the header, just slide the gasket in. Can the gasket go on both ways? I don't want to remove a header to find out if I don't have to. Thanks, Doug

I think it will only go in one way...not 100% sure, but I remember having to take mine out and turning it around. You dont need to remove the header to figure it out, that I know 100%

the way you're doing it is the best way to do it. You can't put it on backwards, the holes wont line up and it will only fit one way.

when I buy gaskets that aren't slotted, I cut the ends and slot them myself.
