Since most of engine wear occurs during start up, it is a good idea but since your motors will be making 1000 hp I am assuming that you will be rebuilding them after maybe 100 hours or so and the bearings would be replaced. So my opinion it is a good idea if you have the extra money to spend ( This is assuming that your oiling system is using the best parts and is set up correctly)

I have used these for years before we started selling them. I actually strip them and had them powder coated to match my engines.
