Default Anyone have Mecruiser/Mercury engine book from the mid to late 80s?

Looking for bottom end torque specs for 489" Mercruiser tall deck race engine with Carillo rods circa 1984-88.
Done some researching and have come up with varying numbers so want to see what Merc says are the correct ones..

I have a Mercruiser service manual # 9 dated 1987 page 3B-1 list main bearing cap Torque Spec as 110 Lbs.Ft and the Connecting rod caps as 90 Lbs-Ft . The specs are for the 482 CID MCM 460 Cyclone . Hope this helps.

ht,
You should be able to call Carillo and tell them the markings on the head of the rod bolts and the length and diameter of the bolts and they will tell you the torque specs.

carillo likes to measure stretch as a function of "torque" . they will , more than likely, give you a an installed length spec that should correlate to the free length. and using the correct lube is critical. as bill says, talk to them, they are a terrific company.
