Question for engine gurus
What would it take to make a 502 ( 700 SCi ) into a 509 ci engine ,and how much HP + tourge would it be ????
I am asking because if i had 2 -700 mercs and wanted to leave them the way the are but beef them up to 509 would it be reliable and would it be easy and make sense ???
Looking to get 800+ HP out of each????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daredevil, are asking only adding 7 cubic inches to the engines will make a difference? Probably not. If you want 800 hp out of a 700SC you need to get more psi and have to upgrade the injectors, remap the MEFI controller etc.
