Hello- new member to the forum & perspective first time Baja owner. My wife & I have been looking at early to mid 90's 25 - 27 Baja's and some of the earlier boats don't have the offshore controls. I was wondering if it's possible to convert a boat without the factory offshore controls to an aftermarket set? Is there a conversion kit someone sells?

Also any known issues to be on the look out for in the early to mid 90's boat?

One last question, I've has several people tell me that Formulas are a better boat than the Baja's; is there any truth to this or is it just personal opinion?
