Default fuel pump leak

I have the mechanical fuel pump mounted on the raw water pump driven by a belt. Gen V? Fuel gets into that oil reservoir. On my old boat I changed both pumps and a month later fuel was in the reservoir again. The pumps always worked so I left it and just changed the oil regularly. Does anyone make a pump that wont leak that's a direct fit to a 575SCi? If so what's the warranty? I've seen the $500 mech pumps and will buy them if they have a good warranty. Good should be about 10 years given nothing but fuel gets into them.

He you go! Call CV Products, Thomasville NC, ask for Dan Kent, Tell him you want the Merc Marine Billet fuel pump. $430.00 I think for over the counter customers. You'll never have to replace it, check valves can be replaced & diapham.I believe that pump come with a 5-7 psi spring in it. BEST ONE OUT THERE BY FAR! Mark
