Default Bravo 1 Stuck In Gear. Help !

I was idling in a shallow channel when outdrive struck some sort of object. After that, shifter stuck in forward. I have not been able to get in neutral. It's a 89 baja 250 sport ES, Big Bloock Chevy with Bravo I.

Thanks
SidneyW

I would pull it to see if the shifter fork is still attached correctly... Doesn't take buy about a half hour to remove and inspect

With the motor off (of course) grab the prop. I suspect it will not move either direction. Apply a little force to the prop and you will probably hear a noise in the upper if you can get it to break free. You will have to try both directions. I t will take some force though, everthing is in a bind in the upper. Probably a broken thrust washer or gear floor.
