Default Trying to install GPS unit?

On an 06 outlaw 25 where what are you guys useing for your power and your ground? In other words where are you picking up the power and ground from? This is for a Garmin 540s.Thanks in advance.

You can pick the hot lead off of the oil pressure guage, and the ground to any of the grounds behind the panel.

I would assume you could come off the hot side of your ignition wire. Then ground to the panel. I dont think I would run it all the way back to the motors. Your other option is run it back to your batteries.

I just ran the wire to my breaker panel down below the helm picked up ground and positive there. Just use one of your acc breakers.

Does the '06 come with ACC switches? If so that would probably work if they are there and not being used.
