Default Intake Upgrade ???

I have 468s with Weiand team G single plane intakes with Nickerson 830 carbs. Would I have better performance with dual plane intake??Also rec.heads and S-M exhaust.

Not enough performance change to justify the cost. I would say maybe a 10-20 lbs increase in mid-range torque and little to nothing on the top end.

The Team G is a good manifold. For the rpm's the boat runs, a single plane is the way to go.

Depending on your pistons, cam etc, unless you're running like a pig down low at the moment, i'd say if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The rect port heads need to breathe and the Team G will do that. If you're lacking low end, try an HVH SS Carb spacer, they're cheaper than a new manifold.

If it's all good now though, leave well engough alone.
