Default Drives for 100mph 3100

I am thinking about buying a used AO3100 that will do 100mph plus. What drives would be recommended for this application? I am under the impression certain model years are better than others. Any suggestions on what years to stay away from? I have been aboard a 3100 a few years ago and liked the layout of the cockpit and cabin. I think for a buyer on a budget this twin engine cat is hard to beat.

I like the "close to 110 every time out", that is awesome! How much power are you pushing through those drives? 70 hours on the drives, I would imagine you keep the drives in mind while planing and re-entry. I have heard the AO/Chris Cat/Awesome 31 hulls may be a bit more forgiving on Bravo sytle drives because of a more conservative X-dimension than some of the other cat hulls. I see a lot of big power AOs with bravo 1 drives. I wasn't sure how long they last. Really looking forward to buying my first cat!

What drive did you swap out? What kind of power are you running? 565 hours on any Bravo style drive is really impressive. Why do you think the hulls are so drive friendly?
