I put one on my 02 Fountain Fever this spring; HP500efi. I did mine in the boat, the hardest part was mounting of the fuel cooler and fuel sys. Had to completely fab the entire sys. from the shut off valve forward. I also installed a pick for the cooler. This was not that hard it's just hard to get into the positioning needed , I'm not al limber as I used to be. Had some small issues w some of the small parts not being in the set , screws, plugs, etc. The only big concern was that the intake manifold gaskets had shrank and did not fit correctly( cheap chinese junk) and I had to go by some Felpros. Other hard thing was bleeding the air out of the fuel sys. but figured out to just leave the last compression fitting loose until all the air had escaped. In all if I did it again, I would take the engine out . If you do this on your own, make sure that you have all of the fuel lines constructed w swivel fittings on every end and think twice before you have them made it was very difficult to make every thing line up and fit properly.

Do a search here first. Plan on engine removal to install, it is much easier.
Don't cut corners !!! If you do it will bite you on the water.
Also check the latest Powerboat december issue. Bob Teague talks about supercharging in the tech column.
