I have a Volvo Penta marine 454 engine. The guy I got it from said it was a 1994.That is all I know about it. Can someone tell from the brass # plate year and HP? 4100140606. Thanks Mike.

Yes. It came with engine when I got it.It works fine. But gona change to a marine type.

it should be a gen V std gm HEI dist. but they work very well if set up correctly, I run a DUI version of that and like it..very simple and reliable...Rob
