Merc is building their own gen 6 big block.
But the 8.1 is done. Its too bad, it was a great engine.

I know they have a new 8.2 Mag coming out, if not out already. It even has a Cat Converter!

GM is not the only manufacturer of big blocks....
Mercury is going back to the 502 same as Mercury Racing which is a better platform.
