I can't believe that people are giving these a$$clowns money.

This is the best quote calling themselves out as the party at fault but now they're saying it wasn't their fault....

"Sea Shepherd unveiled the Ady Gil last October saying a California millionaire with the same name had donated most of the money for it. At the time, the group said the boat would be used to intercept and physically block Japanese harpoon vessels. "

Looks like that "physically block" part worked out pretty well for them.

The south park episode explains this the best.

Amazing, those guys are just azz clowns, the messed up part is I watch it, its better than reality tv. Its like watching a train wreck, except their causing the wreck. I actually cheer on the whalers.

Ive watched that show a few times. seems like they dont prevent anything and usually end up getting themselfs hurt. Whats the point in ramming your boat into a SHIP? Obviously it didnt slow the whaling ship down much.

Whaling makes me ill, but then the Japanese don't have alot of grazing area for cattle, so I think they turn to the sea. I think Sea Shepard's impact is not in direct interdiction, but in raised awareness.

You know I don't agree with their tactics, (ramming a carbon fiber boat into a steel Ship) but the Japanese don't use most of the meat they take so I don't get that either.

Same thing with China, I used to eat shark fin soup until I seen that they cut the fins off then throw the rest away. WTF? Shark steaks are killer!

They are not there to prevent anything.

They are there to create publicity to receive more donations to garner more political clout and relevancy.

They don't give a sh!t about whales they are pure capitalist even if they don't even realize it. And they suck at that also.
