I have a 375 hp 496, the block cracked (and the 525 I really want seems unreasonable right now)
If I purchased the 425 horse version (in a long block) can I have my computer re-calibrated for that engine?
Would I need anything else to make this a true HO?
Thanks

to make the conversion you need a cam ,the hole in the throttle plate needs drilled ecu need reprogrammed by whipple ,he can give slight up grade at that time 10% on top

If the camshaft in the new long block is the 425HO version , you're good to go on the engine. You can send us the ECM and we reprogram them to HO spec for $675 each. Let us know if we can help.

The Raylar HO replacement camshaft and our in house ECM reprogram will raise the horsepower to about 460HP with everything else stock.
Let us know if we can help.
