Finally got the Baja in some heat so I can put a new set of Guages in and Carling Rockers . I bought the boat in the fall so only got to make one run in it. It has a 468, around 420 hp? with Gill Exhaust, 750 Holley with stock jetting, I think they are 72 at all four corners, Weiand Intake, don't know what cam is in it. Motor was built buy Crockett Marine Engines in Detroit a couple years ago. Took a look at the fuel pump and they have a Holley Red Pump in it, it will flow 67 gph at 5 psi. Do the the math and the motor only needs around 40gph. But isn't that the problem, the 5 psi? Thought about going to a Holley Blue Pump. Anyone else run a Red Pump on a 454?

Pumps can be rated at free flow or at a set psi. I've had good luck with Malloy pumps, they supply flow rate vs psi data.
The 110 should have enough volume, is priced right, and doesn't require a regulator or return line.
