I am looking for some help locating someone who did work on my HTM about 9 years ago I am hoping he is still around seeing as the pro charged 454 he built for me is still running perfect 600 hrs later (IN a purple and yellow SR-24). Unfortunately I cant find the paperwork and dont remember his name all I remember is he used to work for mercury then went out on his own and he put a "super chiller" on my boat that I believe he designed. He was a sub contractor of Rod Dash from performance marine which is long gone. Any help locating this fella would be greatly appreciated as I want him to do some possible work on the new (to me) black thunder

I don't know what you mean by "subcontractor" but Mel would never work for Rod Dash, Mel has his own shop south of Oshkosh and does top notch work. (Rigg's Marine)

You may be thinking of Gary Meisenberg Sr. who used to work at Mercury Marine or Gary Meisenberg Jr. who now has his own shop south of town, both of who were techs at Sweetwater 6-7 years ago.

Gary Swanson now runs the service dept. at Sweetwater, but I don't know if he worked there back then. Hope this helps.
