I am considering changing from my twin top mounted old combine throttle and shifter to the modern separte shifter and throttles.

The only problem is I don't want to spend 1K. What is the best deal going. What is the difference in the other companies.

I just did this. Or am in the process. I found a very nice used set of KK's on the board for around 375.00. I ended up buying some new cables also. The cables are not top of the line however they'll get the job done. It will bring a whole new look and will be much easier to manuver around also. You can typically find a used set for twins for around 400.00 if you keep an eye out and not be in a hurry.

I would even look back a ways on the swap or even in classifieds. In some cases guys don't always keep their used items fresh or current. Otherwise put thread out that your looking for a good used set and see what kind of response you get. I'll keep my eyes open also. The ones I got are very nice without hardly a scratch.

Search "Gaffrig" and "Livorsi" on ebay. There are sets on there quite often.
