Default Anybody Make TRS upgrades for 750 hp. Plus ?

Does anybody know of anybody that makes upgraded shafts etc. for TRS drives?

Looking to put 572 tall desks to current drives.
750 hp. 750 torque.

Probably won't last long and will have to up grade to other drives.

But I thought I would see if anyone is or has successfully run big power to them.

Thanks for everybodys help
with other info as well.

You guys / gals are a great help.

Talk to Marc at BAM Marine, they have a link on this site. I think they have heat treated gears; shafts I don't know.

Default TRS upgrades

Thanks

Actually I talked to him today.
He said he is working on it, but it's not
strong enough yet.

Thanks

Cougar-Just a humble opinion: Obviously you want to go fast, but a TRS is not the way to go there. The unit is not designed for high speeds and by the time you get them strong enough to hold your power, you will have spent enough money to buy some used Speedmasters.

What good would it do to trade them in when the whole transom assembly and hull cutout are different?

Default Trade In ?

NW_Jim,

You would have to plug the transome and reglass.
Layout you new cut outs and recut & rerig.

Something it would be nice to avoid, but part of going faster and replacing older equipment with the latest and greatest.

thanks
