Merc 50hp 4-stroke, low rpm???
I friends Merc 50hp 4 stroke this spring can only reach 4400rpm after Carbs were removed & rebuilt by the Merc dealer. 10 mph before! Now, still will only reach 24 mph@4400 rpm. The boat has never run to factory spec's since new (2 summers) of 5500rpm& 34 mph. It has the original factory prop on it & undamaged.
Any idea?
