I am looking for a new carb for a stock 454 Mag in a 26ft Checkmate. I am pretty sure it has a Weber on it now. I want something that is easy to tune in and reasonable in price.
Any Suggestions?

Edelbrock is probably the easiest to tune, but I wouldn't think it is much of an upgrade over stock. The Holley 4150's are pretty good, a little harder to tune, but pretty good. How much do you want to spend and what do you want to get out of it? If you're just changing the carb I wouldn't expect much of a performance increase. Do you have the 370Hp. Mag?

This would be a good choice. You might need an adapter but it would be the best carb for your 365hp mag in my .02. Good price too.

Remove the screens that are in the needle and seats(they get plugged with crap),also it helps if you dont touch the throttle if the engine has been warmed up..it will snap the choke shut and can be a *****,i hate the electric chokes!!
