Hi I am new to the forum and new to the boat I just purchased. I have have been reading and checking out the whole forum and love what I see. I just purchased a 22' pachanga and i cant wait for warmer weather.
Now for my question. I was woundering if any one could tell me how to make the exhaust louder. I read on here that you can buy 4" or 4 1/2" stainles 90's and just hook it up. Do you need internal exhaust flaps to prevent water rushing into the motor? And would it sound good like all the other small blocks with thru hull? If any one one has a list of the stuff I would need it would be awesome. Does any one have pics or video?

Have you taken the boat out yet?
Honestly, drive it around for a few outings, you might not want to deal with how load straight pipes tend to be. The P22 has a good mix of sound and not being too loud...

Oh I will in about one week. I dont want it straight thru. I was thinking about putting a 4" 90 on to make the bend and then a inline silencer.http://www.cpperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=351 I just dont know If I would need inline flappers for rushing water purposes. I think it would sound better and a little louder than stock. Not sure tho.

Honestly, sea rays setup is a nice balance between sound and loudness. I personally wouldn't change it.
