I talked to the guy last summer about it. Nice boat and nice guy. Hardware is all original so it might need some attention. Used to be a 3 man center steer setup. Cabin is bare glass (race setup). Older motors but he says they are fresh....that was my only big hang up. Runs in the low mid 70's.

Man don't even get into converting it. Your talking about a total rerig and power plus all the glasswork. Can it be done....sure. Is it worth it???? You have waited this long so just wait until something pops up you WANT. You don't really want this boat if your talking about converting...

What are you looking for in a 28' Saber? Twins or Single. My friend has a 28 with twin Hawk 525 SC's that I could get you in touch with.

Well what i want and what i can afford are two different things. haha
but. Im in either direction twins or single. but just for ease of use i would say single. but like how the boats sit in the water with twins. I like the yellow tiwn but seems like a bit of a project,
One reason i like this is the weight of the boat is only 5500 LBs with trailer and half tank fuel. Which means i can pull it with a 1500 P/U.
