Default KPM sea water pumps

has anyone tries these KPM 112 run dry seapump rebuild kit for merc., for $199.00 from West Coast Offshore.
If they work they sound great!!

dude,read the stainless sea pump thread in this section,it goes over many pumps and peoples comments.

I have not bought this kit, but I have 2 complete KMP run dry pumps that do not work. They have to be primed and then they put out next to no water pressure. I would steer clear of them.

I have them on 4 boats and have had ZERO issues with priming or water pressure.... dont figure.

I ran them on 2 engines and they would never prime on the hose. In the water they were fine. I took them off after one impeller cam apart, maybe a prime issue. I never lost a merc pump like that, so I run the mercs again with no issues.

I have run the KPM 112 for two years and it works flawless! Both in the water and on the hose.

me too..I even bought them from Trick Marine !!!
