Donzi lower drive

Donzi lower drive
Have 38 ZX Donzi -
Went out first time this year. Running fine. On way back in - had a clunk in lower unit , almost like it bumped a submerged something. Looked at them, they look fine. Hapened during the shuting down process when it happened wern't moving but maybe 10-15. Idled the rest of the way in to dock. During this time I put it in and out of gear couple time. Had a light clunk in the port side as it went in gear. Just once Did not do it again. It also may have a slight whine.
Any thoughts. Had to get on the road, so I did not have time to look into it before I left.
