Does anyone know the rpms where merc 496 mag ho rev limiter kicks in? I want to make sure to be a little under it with my props and couldn't find anything online other than the recommended 4600-5000 rpm range. One guy on a forum said 5125 rpms but not sure where it came from or if true?

Thanks for the 5150 rpms info! If it barely hits this rpm,we need cup added but if hits it too easy I suppose new props.We will see Saturday.
