Yea I think it's possible, but my concern would be if they did any upgrades to the internals of the motor. I don't think a stock 496Mag/HO would hold up long to a Whipple Supercharger running it hard.
I didn't see the speed #'s when I posted that originally...Claiming 88-90mph on GPS...

Does the Mag/HO not come with forged pistons/crank and good rods? I can understand head gaskets and maybe valve springs, but, what other internal parts would be needed to "safely" install the whipples? I was under the impression that if you ran them with conservative boost pressure they where a bolt on deal?
MAYBE thats why its for sale? if the motors need to be rebuilt from running the whipples without the proper internals its not gonna be cheap for the new owner

Really? so, I assume a boat from 01-02 would have pretty stout internals? Any idea why the would go away from the forged internals? Thanks for the info, I had NO idea they stopped using forged stuff after 02!
