OBDII code scanner

I've got an Actron I got from Advanced for around $80. They have a better one that is like $120 which has better monitor features but I needed it quick and they didn't have the upper grade one. It works fine and will do the basics either way.

You can read my thread over on SO about my F350 if you want but the bottom line is I had an actron scanner and it really doesn't do much. You are better off finding a more complete scanner that can stream data, etc....
A LOT of the guys on "The Diesel Garage" and "The Diesel Stop" use AutoEnginuity. It interfaces with your laptop and you can buy specific components for whatever car you are working on that have more in depth applications for that specific vehicle.

I've got one that I bought from Advance Auto. I like it.
However, if you are looking into getting a Tuner for any of your vehicles, I'd look into the Diablo Sport Predator PowerTuner.
You can adjust the tuning of the assigned vehicle's ECM anytime, but it's also an ODB-II reader and streams live data while driving, on any vehicle.
