Default Raw water pump mercruiser 7.4

have a 1988 chaparral villian3 with a 7.4 mercruiser. My raw water pump needs replacing, I purchased one off e-bay and was sent the one for a serp belt and not the v-belt like is currently on it. Anyway to change pulleys, or convert this to work?

kwtv38,
If you swap out the pullys, I am interested in the serp belt pulley for the waterpump.

Ken if I can get the pulleys swapped will let you know. The problem I'm having is the vbelt pulley has 4bolts and the serp one looks pressed on.

the fitting on the old pump with the bolt holes will press off also, and then you should be able to press it on the new pump.
