Default 24 skater-25 motion insurance

I found a 24 skater for sale at a fair price. Checked on isurance with six different insurance compaines. Ranges form $1680-$2300. Does this sound right. Would a Motion be less to insure. My Apache cost $289 a year.

When I first bought my Skater 24 it was $900 per year through Buzz Fyrhie. I did alot of looking and was told that you could not write liability only for that boat. Well, after much looking I found out you are able to write liability only and now I pay like $250 per year. If you have any specific questions let me know. Remember, your boat does NOT go over 99!

Default Sounds cheap to me

I pay $1,495 on a 26ZX and I never had any claims in my life, I was looking at a 30 Spectre for 80,000 the same as the Donzi and the Insurance was $4,500. My 22ZX was faster supercharged and I was only at $550 a year. The one below is around 5gs a year, But what a great looking boat!

AS i posted before.......my 33 ft Eliminator is now 3200.00 and it only went up less than 300.00 this year. All insurances are going up no matter who and what. But cats are always really high and there are only 3 to 4 companies that touch them. I even had a 7800.00 claim last year....in which they paid less my 3540.00 deductible........
