Long block from mercury would only be like 3g with a 2 year warranty. Makes aftermarket power not such a great deal. I assume you have a older mag with a carb and non vortec heads?

Ocean Performance in CT is always a good bet.

Just a thought...

I just had my motor shipped from NY to CA and back for under $1000 . So as long as you work it into you project budget it opens your options of engine builders to anyone in the country.

3 Guys I can think of are JC performance , Young performance & Raylar. For you application I would reccomend Eddie @ Young Performance he is very honest,& trustworthy and resonable.

Good Luck

In connecticut
Larry Liefert
Liefert racing engines in torrington CT.
(860) 482 4533
he built most of Paul Newmans road race engines spun to 9K RPMs and lived nice long healthy lives. He does all my machine work on my turbocharged 468 pontiacs and they live well too even at 980 HP.
I wouldnt trust anyone else!

My 20 sutphen has one of his engines in it too.

He's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, great prices, and only he and his brother work on the engines their so you know theres no 16 year old learning on your engine.

Ocean Performance does good work too and they are always willing to help out answering questions etc

If you are looking for the same as what you already have, this is the way to go. Or watch the classifieds for a take-out.

Somebody just sold a pair of 350's in the classifieds for $4600, completely dressed as well.
