I need feedback on the 502 MPI with the whipple blower. Most posts in the past was with the 500 EFI.
Do you guys recomend any internal upgrades ( valves, springs, etc, etc)

I have a Whipplecharged 502 Mag in my 2000 Velocity 280. I have used it for about 50 hours with no problems. I bought it with the larger throttle body and installed an offshore water pickup and stainer at the same time. I haven't done any engine modifications and it is a stock Bravo 1 outdrive with shower turning a Bravo 1 30" non-labbed prop. I do not beat the boat AT ALL. I come out very comfortably at 2900RPM and cruise at 64MPH GPS@ 4000rpm. 98% of my driving is at less than 70MPH, although it will approach middle 80s gps. I have no regrets ...

I have a Whipple on my 502 in my Crownline 225LPX
I have had ZERO problems with my engine. The engine is completely stock (except for the Whipple).
I highly recommend the Whipple to anyone with a 502 MPI!
