Default Where to find a 29 Outlaw single engine?

Hi. I´m lookin for att single engine 29 outlaw but I can just find a handfull of them and they've has all 454 or in best case 496 in them. I want something more like 525, 540.

In the pdf from Baja it says you could order them with 500EFI, 525 and even 575 so it must be someone out there.

Is there any good sales sites to look at more than the classfields and powerboatlistings.com?

Sorry ´bout my spelling, I´m from Sweden and dyslectic and probobbly slightly stoopid as well.

i searched and searched for one, best i found was a 502 415hp one but it was a crap box.
you would be better off finding a nice one with any power and swapping a big motor into it and selling the stock one.

They are quite popular @ LOTO
( Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.)

Nothing with big power though.

I know. Thats the problem. Why do they want a single 454 or 496 with 375 hp when they could get a 540 with a blower? Is there some kind of mental vortex in loto or what?

Because most of the people bought them for the ride at loto, if they wanted speed they would have went twins. It will take one hell of a engine/drive combo to make it a respectable performer. I had a friend that had one with a 502 mag and it would only run low 50's and was still hard on drives.

I've got the single 385. It's an affordable option for a great ride. The single has a better ride than the twin, is half the maintenece and performs OK, low 50's in mine.
You won't find one with the big engine you're after. However, If you want a really clean one, give me a shout. Sell what's in it and drop that beast in it that you want. I'm looking to go bigger and what I'm after is brokered so I can't trade into it. Boat is at LOTO

I have a '97 29 Outlaw with a single HP500 (carb) motor. I bought the boat with a 502 EFI and swapped in the blue motor. The motor was completely rebuilt top to bottom last winter and currently has 15 hours on it, 315 total hours on the boat. The cockpit upholstery was completely redone in '08 and I am currently replacing the carpet and headliner in the cabin. The boat will be for sale once I get the cabin completed (hopefully in the next couple weeks). Let me know if you have any interest.
