Default what kind of glue for headliner?

what kind of glue should be used to install a new headliner in the cabin area? i have used contact cement for carpet in other areas with great success, but that would be a PITA for a headliner!!

3M makes a good spray glue for headliners. Just follow the directions (have to let it set for a few min.) Should be able to get it at any napa

Default headliner

I need to replace my headliner because the foam backing is bad. Tried to reglue by was a waste of time. Where is the best place to find the material that is wide enough. I do not want to have a seam down the middle.

We did some extensive work on our boat last winter (replaced a full canvas enclosure and reupholstered the cabin seating. Used this website a lot. They have a couple of free videos re: installing headliners. I plan on doing some headliner work this coming winter and will be referencing this site again.

I just typed "headliner" in the search window and found the vieos. Very helpful.

Checked the website and realized it only took me to the sypmatico web page. The website I was referring to is the Sailrite one. They have a folder called "resources" and I found the info in there.
