Here are the measurements I took. Let me know if these are the right points to measure from or not. It seems to me they are WAY out of alignment if I measured from the right points.
Red line - center prop nut to center prop nut right at 36in
Yellow line - water pickup to water pickup roughly 34.75
Green Line - Grease fitting to grease fitting right at 34.5
I am going to use a level and straight yard stick to get more exact measurement once I am sure that I am taking the right measurements. I would assume this means that my drives are roughly toed ??out?? 1.25in. My drives are rotating out but I think I want to start out by getting them dead even. Does this mean I just turn in each side little by little until I get it there? Exactly what kinds of problems or things can this cause?

I dunno never even thought about checking this until I read some post on here. This is my first twin engine boat so I never knew about alignment etc. What kind of effects does this have? Lost of speed? stability? etc? How do I go about fixing this and making sure I am measuring from the right points?

Just run your tie bar in about an inch and you are good. you may have to open up your inner tie bar if you have one. 1/4" toe in is good.

Then you're good, just adjust the tie bar so you end up with 1/4 - 1/2" toe in.

Be surprised if you didn't have an inner tie bar w/o hyd steering. That would put all steering forces one the 1 drive tiller arm/gimble ring.
Go by the red and yellow line to set your toe.

OK,,,,i have a question on this for all gurus....
how can it be on his boat to have a 34.5 centerline and the front and back of the drives are wider ?????
Dont make any sense to me ...if the propshaft center would be 36 , the water pick up side ( front should be less then 34 !!! NO ??????
Something is not right !!

Where is the inner tie bar located? I was assuming it was connected to the outside of the drives but I'm curious now. There is definitely only one tie bar on the exterior between the 2 drives
