525EFI upgrading with Whipple, is it worth the $$
#3
You're probably going to go $20K deep per motor once you factor in labor, a drive upgrade/replacement, tuning, dyno, prop(s), etc. etc.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The 525EFI is a brilliant motor as is.

Worth every penny.
The 525 is an excellent platform to put a Whipple on.
We just build a 598 with a 5.0 Whipple on it for a guy with a Magic deck boat... one of the funnest boats I have ever driven... goes 131+ mph.

Why don't you tell us about it. Ray@raylar posts on here all the time. I haven't heard any gripes from his other customers.
