39' Nayy Seal HSB outboard options?

Default 39' Nayy Seal HSB outboard options?

Recently picked up a Navy HSB (it has a Florida registration number, but lists the make on the title as NAVY/ believe it was built by united states marine) 39 foot, with no engines or drives. Any suggestions on how large an armstrong bracket along with the size and # of outboards as an alternative to going back to stock?

A close friend has one with twin 650 Brad Smith engines in it with No.3's on it and it might do 70mph. But, it will crush anything in its path. HEAVY!!!!

just standing in this boat puts a smile on one's face of how bad this boat really is! It is one solid a-- boat.

Depends how fast you wanna go, I would guess 3 - 300xs mercs would be in order, and get ya around 70MPH, if ya need a bracket, I got a guy in Miami that does them for much less than some of the others.

the prior owner told me it weighed 8000 lbs without engine and drives.
