I just bought a 270br and have a whistle at 2000rpm

what can I do to eliminate this issue? sounds like its coming from the filter?

oh yeah its an 8.1 496 crownline

Joe, I personnaly can't give you a fix, but there were several folks over on CrownieHQ that had that problem with their 496s. Something about a loose vent I think. The site is www.crowniehq.net. I have a 225lpx with the 496.
