Question CheckmateF1, DK...K&N question

When anyone has switched over to a K&N filter / arrestor. Do you have to change jet sizes in the carb? 1 up, 2 up, leave it alone?????

p.s. I'm also putting in a stub stack.

I WONDERED THAT MYSELF. i thought i'd run it a bit and see. i don't think that just the filter would cause it to run TOO lean. we need a carb specialist to tell us.

Tim, when we switched from the stock arrestor to the K&N on the dyno we did not change any jetting. I still don't have dyno sheets in front of me. When I do I could give you some more details. My carb is 800cfm with 82 pri w/6.5pv and 88 sec w/no pv.

hope this helps!
Eric
