Question Rik??????

Rik,

I was talking to a guy about a 30' Skater inboard today. He was talking about wanting twin 525EFI Mercury's and Arneson drives. Called Pete and he said a 525/Bravo would run around 115mph, What do you think about a possible project like this and the speeds? Here's a few picture's of a 30'......

It should reach 125 to 130 mph with the 525's. It would not need an engine hatch as the engines would be nice and low. If the owner gets the itch a Whipple kit would put this thing into the high 150's if wanted.

Do you have any pictures of the drive set up?

drooooooooooooool.....

The 30' skater with whippled 525s and arnesons at 150mph is my dream boat...

i could NOT think of a better setup. But as long as we're dreamin, a 388 would fit nicely in the shop too..

WB,
Think about this...............a 30' or 32' Skater inboard with Mercury 700SCI's and Arneson drives, 150 to 160mph. That would be a fun little boat.

Those are pretty good speeds with just 700s, how much faster is the boat with arnesons compared to #6s???

How did you upload them? It keeps rejecting them for me saying they are to large.
