10-71 Blower littlefeild

Is there any info on these any where guys? Would like to see the guts of them. What oil to use? How to drain and fill it? I have a little oil leak on the back side. I am told there is only oil in the front and some grease on the gears on the back of the bolwer. It looks like the oil might be coming out where the blower meets the intake on the back side. If this is the case what is the easyest way to check this? Oil is getting pass the front seal back over the rotors and pushed out the back? If so is that front seal easy to change?

WOW Thank u guys that helps a ton!! I am going to put some dye in the blower oil and make sure thats what it is. And if it is i will get new seals and gaskets if bearings all feel good. Looks real simple.

I am guessing it is not the grease you are losing. It probably is a leaking gasket at the base. Keep in mind the pressures of a supercharger will cause leaks. It will look like a oily residue when in fact it is gas. Kind of a brown color?

Also, on my blowers, the end-caps don't "seal" to the case so it's possible some gas leaked between the rotor case and the rear cover.
Every time I pull a blower off an engine there will always be some old brown gas puddled up somewhere in the intake manifold cavity. Hopefully that's all it is.
Also, if/when you change the bearings on the rear cover ou can buy "sealed" bearings instead of having grease packed, that's what I did.
