The replacement for the old boat is on the way and I’d like to thank OSO members for all the helpful information obtained on this board. Since registering last summer I haven’t done much posting, but what I have learned here has had a big impact on power selection and accessories for the new boat.

The social aspects of this membership are great. Last year’s LOTO Shootout was a blast. I think my buddy is still grinning. It was great meeting up with OSO members at the St. Louis Hooters gathering this year. I’ll miss not being at LOTO for Memorial weekend, but we all know what’s coming up in August.

A personal thanks to Too Old, Advantage_Rob, FWK, gjockey, Bruce, Christopher Gibbons and G-Force. Your experience and advice were most helpful in selecting the new toy. Sevens days and counting......

OK Guys, I'll see if I can get a construction photo posted. You'll have to wait till next week for finished photos. I'm working on a very mild graphics scheme that won't be ready for a while. Come on up Fred, we can go visit one of your favorite boat dealers.

Inspired by Too Old, I'm ready to take on the challenge of a fixer-uper, a 1962 Whatchamathunkit. Note the rare single step tri-hull design. Twin engines might be overkill. I figure a 1050 SCi might be good for a vertical velocity of 3 fathoms per second.
