I have a 2003 twin 496mag HO boat, was told they run better with a little back pressure,I have straight /empty tips on it now and need to replace them with Corsa muffler tips for noise reasons.
I was told they run better with back pressure from the mufflers, any truth to that, was anybody installed Corsa mufflers on a 496 mag HO ?and have you noticed any difference at all, good or bad?
Thanks

I did just the opposite on my PQ...for noise reasons. Really woke up the HO's after removing the Corsa muffled tips. Didn't really notice much change at WOT, but mid range seemed better. Sounded like it anyway.
