Default Bolster question

Have any of you "new owners" noticed a change in the way the PQ bolsters are constructed?

Reviewing some of the pictures I have seen as well as a few 01-02 boats, I noticed that the bolsters appear to be made different than my 99's. In part, they look like they are built with less padding and seem cheaper. My 99's appear to be more rounded and the new ones more square. Just my observation.

For those of you who upgraded to the new boats, have you noticed any changes?, looks, feel?

Thanks

Also, you 02 guys, how is the engine hatch ram performing? Same **** or new and improved

Jeff

I personally don't like the new interiors and cabins. The new cabin reminds me of some other cheaper brands(no names) and look cheap. They seem to have lost that classy look. Just my opinion. What do you all think?

I have to agree with both of you. The new entry into the v berth is not as sharp and the seats do look less expensive. The boats are still a good buy though.

Late 2001 PQ introduced another bolster to replace the cheaper looking one they had for most of 2001. My 340 is one of the first ones with this new design. It is more comfortable than the 2001. The new bolsters look like beefier versions of the ones I had on my 2000 280.

The ram MFG is new, but it is still slow so far no problems with the 3 340's down here.

Come on Jeff, spill it; whats up? New boat time???????

Bill, come on, good things come with time ..........still doing my homework.

If it is possible, can you take a few digital photos of your seats for me and either post them or e-mail them? From the back as well as from the front of the bolster.

Thanks

Sure,

shot of the AC system (if possible)
close up of the bolsters (front and rear)
cabin shot near the hanging locker/stereo/AC grilles

Thanks Bill
