After reading a Skater thread about the 368 and 388's running faster than the 32 and 36's due to new more efficient designs, I decided this might be a fun topic....

What specific boat is the fastest (mph) of each brand regardless of length, powerplant, fuel, etc.?

Or any other brands you guys wanna throw out there. Figured it'd be neat to make a list of who has the fastest boat for each brand and what size/power it has. I'll update/edit the list as you guys think of them.

I'd have to say that Fountain consistently builds the overall fastest Vee hull of any size.

The Cats are pretty tough to objectively point to one being the overall fastest hull every time, or with notable consistency in my opinion.

What I meant was this for example...

Skater- Pure Platinum
Eliminator-Greg's Daytona
Mystic-nautimarine 50'

Don't know if these are correct but using them to show what I mean.

I do not think Pure Platinum is the fastest Skater. There are few 40's that are running 200 mph or close to it with turbines and David Scott holds the speed record with his 36 Skater at about 205. Ginos MTI is the fastest pleasure boat (any brand) at 193. Once again David Scott had his MTI turbine over 200 unofficially.

At the 1 mile shootout run, Chip Romer in his 388 skater saw 191mph on gps. Is that the fastest gps speed anyone has ever gotten running gas at the shootout?

I believe Outerlimits has built more fast Vee bottoms than anyone.......even if Reggie has the record for now.

I believe Obama is the best President ever....even though the record books show different.........

Hustler would be Black Cloud for the Vee bottoms and who knows for the Hustler Talon Cat.
