anybody had any first hand experience with this???? Air only cannot be reversed. It would be enough to just cool the cabin a little and not have to run a generator.

I've been following the DC versions for a while. They do seem to be improving but IMO not there yet. The best I could tell is if you have "house" batteries just for the AC unit, set the t.stat to the most efficient setting, went to bed @ midnight and got up @ 6:00 AM you'd get up to two dead batteries. T.stats on timers might solve this but don't think I saw them yet??
